[DIY] Instagram Signage

Can't believe our luck!

Just as we were mourning over how the A4 paper couldn't fit into the B5 frame we got from Daiso, we chance upon this beautiful whimsical A4 frame from Mini Toons (Jurong Point, Basement 1) which was retailing at only S$5.

It looked so perfect, we almost teared.

[DIY] Bridesmaid Kit

[By Justina]

It's the Bridesmaids Meeting this weekend as we gather to hatch evil plans to torture the Groomsmen.

Decided at the last minute to pack a little Bridesmaid Kit for the lovely girls to thank them in advance for their help.

Added some beauty mask as I want the girls to remain pretty on the day. And there's also my favourite size of plasters: EXTRA huge. It is the best type for heels as it covers the ankles properly. Not to forget some of my favourite milk chocolate to get them sugar-high for the day.

Everything was packed in my favourite purple bag from SKP.

Share with me what you prepared for your Bridesmaids (if any), I can't wait to hear about it.

#MrMrsAng

It is amazing how much the photography industry have matured. From taking photos with a compact camera to using a DSLR and back to taking photos with your mobile. Before Instagram, professional photographer were the only ones rovering around the event, taking pretty shots and most probably printing it instantly at their photobooth or even projecting it on the screen for people to view.

With the rise of the smart phone particularly the iphone and top sharing photo app, Instagram, mobile photography have taken over these market. Photobooth in Singapore with DSLR have become the thing of the past. People no longer want to just take photos by the professional photographer as they might look ugly in those photos taken. Furthermore, they want to be part of the photo taking experience at the event. As such, almost 60-75% of attendees take photos with instagram and post it on their social profile.

 #MrMrsAng

Since we are already planning to get Guest to hashtag our wedding, now the next question is:

Should we get a Live Instagram Printer / Service?

This is how it works:

All we have to do is to create a unique hashtag for the event and let our Guest post instagram photos with the event hashtag. Instagram Photos tag with the event hashtag will be printed and also projected on the live Screen. This means that now we can have a photobooth with Instagram. Audience not only can now take photos in their own perspective but also to post only what they want.

Decisions, decisions...

Oh well, anyway, here's to share a good read on our inspiration for the trending "#hashtag your wedding with Instagram".
